Government, through Lands, Housing and Infrastructure, has launched an assessment exercise this April 2026 for the 147 prefab housing units at Ile Perseverance.
A dedicated task team, including representatives from Local Government, Seychelles Infrastructure Agency (SIA), and Property Management Corporation (PMC), carried out door-to-door visits to assess structural issues, engage with tenants, and gather feedback on purchase, relocation, and other options.
The findings will guide Government in determining a practical and sustainable long-term solution for the housing project.
