The official opening of the Les Mamelles Affordable Housing Estate marks another important milestone in Government's commitment to providing quality housing for Seychellois families.
The project forms part of the long-standing Les Mamelles Redevelopment Project, an urban renewal initiative launched to transform the community by replacing ageing colonial-era housing with modern, well-planned residential accommodation while improving infrastructure and the overall living environment.
The redevelopment of Les Mamelles has been carried out in phases, ensuring that existing residents could be relocated before older structures were removed.
The eight affordable housing units officially handed over today are another demonstration of Government's commitment to ensuring that quality housing remains within reach of Seychellois families while continuing to invest in the development of communities across the country.
